Fulcrum IT Partners Acquire Viadex Ltd.
Fulcrum IT Partners (“Fulcrum”) announces the acquisition of Viadex Ltd and its global subsidiaries in a transaction that ignites the group’s global capabilities, whilst giving Viadex access to a broader range of technology, consumption models, and clients.
Viadex Ltd revenues grew by 58% in their last full year accounts to June 22, showing record profits. The group currently operates across the EU and in 18 countries around the world, with plans to have legal entities in a further 34 countries by June 2024.
“Our strategic aim is to deliver everything as a service, to UK and U.S. mid-market enterprise customers with global needs. Doing this on Fulcrum’s platform, and having the ability to utilise innovative consumption models, enhanced security and networking offerings and add complimentary capabilities and clients, means that Viadex will further enhance our offerings and accelerate growth for Viadex and the group,” said Dino Cooper. Cooper added “What I love about Fulcrum IT Partners is that they invest in entrepreneurs, back their vision and their team, whilst bringing brother and sister organisations to the group where synergy drives accelerated benefits. We work together but have our own leadership and management structures, and benefit from enhanced capabilities as well as terms from our Vendor and Distribution partners. We couldn’t be more excited”.
Fulcrum IT Partners is on track to achieve $1bn in revenue across the group in 2023. In the past year, Fulcrum has acquired companies in the UK (Prodec Networks and Pure Technology Group, rebranded to TIEVA), Canada (iON United) and most recently completed its first U.S. acquisition, Advizex, a $230m consumption specialist.
Head of Strategy for Fulcrum IT Partners, Kelly Carter recently joined from Ingram Micro where she held a number of senior leadership positions including CFO of Ingram Micro Canada., “I am excited to be part of the Fulcrum team as Chief Strategy Officer”. said Carter. “The channel is fragmented and doesn’t serve the market as well as it could. Joining Fulcrum allows me to bring my experience to a company focused on addressing these shortcomings and building a world class partner dedicated to its customers. Viadex is a great fit and an important piece of the puzzle as they have built out the global foundations needed to simplify how global projects are deployed and consumed”.
